ELLIS Pre-NeurIPS Fest 2025: Celebrate, Connect, Collaborate

The ELLIS Pre-NeurIPS Fest is back for another year, offering an open setting for ELLIS researchers across Europe to present their cutting-edge work in machine learning and AI.

This decentralised series of poster sessions, hosted by individual ELLIS Sites, provides scientists and the public an opportunity to connect with fellow AI enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration within the European AI landscape.

What to Expect

The ELLIS Pre-NeurIPS Fest offers a platform for ELLIS members to showcase their recent academic achievements. This includes accepted submissions to the prestigious NeurIPS conference, workshop papers, and contributions to other major conferences in the field. 

When and where will the events take place?

Individual ELLIS Sites will host their own events throughout the weeks leading up to the NeurIPS conference (late November to Dec 12).

Looking Back at a Successful 2024 Event

The 2024 edition of the ELLIS Pre-NeurIPS Fest was our most representative yet with 17 ELLIS Sites participating, the event offered a platform for hundreds of posters (including 152 NeurIPS submissions) and attracted more than 1,100 attendees. 

These sessions provided a valuable space for researchers to present their work, engage in discussions, and build connections within the European AI community.
