Unit Warsaw

The main hosting institution of ELLIS Unit Warsaw is the IDEAS Research Institute. The goal of IDEAS is to develop and apply advanced technologies, especially artificial intelligence, in key areas of security, defense, economy, and public administration. Since December 2025, the co-hosting institutions of ELLIS Unit Warsaw are also the University of Warsaw and Warsaw University of Technology. ELLIS Unit Warsaw was created with the goal of becoming the largest innovation hub in the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy in Poland. It is a platform connecting the business and academic environment, as well as a place to educate the best specialists in the field of AI in the spirit of scientific excellence. The solutions developed will find practical application in the future, generating a positive impact on the economic system and society.
