This marks a significant step in strengthening ELSA’s network and in advancing cutting-edge research on secure and trustworthy artificial intelligence across Europe.

The founding members of ELSA come from eight European countries - Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The new ELSA members are:

Building on the internationally recognized ELLIS network, ELSA contributes to a shared European vision: shaping the future of artificial intelligence through trust, safety, and societal benefit.
