ELSA Expands: Fifteen New Research Institutions and Universities Join the Network
After receiving an extension earlier this year, ELSA continues to build on its success as a European Network of Excellence. The initiative brings together leading experts from across the continent to drive research in Secure and Safe AI, Technical Robustness and Safety, Privacy-Preserving Techniques and Infrastructure, and Human Agency and Oversight.
The founding members of ELSA come from eight European countries - Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. With the addition of these fifteen new ELLIS-affiliated institutions, ELSA further broadens its geographical reach and deepens its commitment to fostering trustworthy, secure, and human-centered AI.
