Established on May 1st, 2020

Unit Mission

Our mission is to become the leading AI & ML research unit in Portugal and establish strong links with our European counterparts by: 1) increasing the reach and visibility of our research through dissemination and communication; and 2) boosting collaborative research and training in AI and ML through participation in events, joint activities, and mobility programs. Through collaborative and open science we aim to empower the next generation of AI researchers to maximise the social and economic impacts of AI & ML in Europe and the world.
