ELLIS Sites ICML Fest 2026: Celebrate, Connect, Collaborate

The ELLIS Sites ICML Fest (formerly called the "Pre-ICML Fest") is back for another year, offering an open setting for ELLIS researchers across Europe to present their cutting-edge work in machine learning and AI.

This decentralised series of poster sessions, hosted by individual ELLIS Sites, provides scientists and the Site’s broader academic community and ecosystem an opportunity to connect locally, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration.

What to Expect

The ELLIS Sites ICML Fest offers a platform for ELLIS members to showcase their recent academic achievements. This includes accepted submissions to the prestigious ICML conference, workshop papers, and contributions to other major conferences in the field. 

When and where will the events take place?

Individual ELLIS Sites will host their own events throughout the weeks around ICML, which officially takes place 6-11 July in Seoul 🇰🇷.

Looking Back at a Successful 2025 Event

The 2025 edition of the ELLIS Pre-ICML Fest, the first time it took place, included 7 Sites who offered a platform for dozens of posters and attracted hundreds of attendees. 

These sessions provided a valuable space for researchers to present their work, engage in discussions, and build connections within the European AI community.
