I am looking for two PhD students to join my group at Aalto University. The positions are part of my ERC Starting Grant project on ergodicity-aware continual reinforcement learning. The project aims to develop new theoretical and algorithmic approaches to reinforcement learning in non-stationary environments, with a particular focus on continual learning, long-term performance, and decision-making under non-ergodicity.
