PhD Position in Mathematical Foundations of Deep Learning at TU Darmstadt
We are looking for a PhD student to join our Signal Theory and Statistical Learning group at TU Darmstadt, Germany.
The position is in the mathematical foundations of deep learning, with a focus on probability theory and random matrix theory. The successful candidate will become part of the Emmy Noether project “RMT4DL: Random Matrix Theory for Deep Learning,” which aims to develop new theoretical approaches for understanding stability, generalization, and feature learning in large-scale neural networks.
