Assistant/Associate Professorship in Video, Animation & Artificial Intelligence at Télécom Paris, IP Paris
Motion synthesis, 3D Gaussian splatting, generative video, neural restoration — the Multimedia team at Télécom Paris is opening a tenure-track professorship built around video and animation with deep learning. You'll carry a reduced teaching load, get a funded package to hire your first PhD student or postdoc, and have the Hi!Paris Center and Instiut Polytechnique de Paris research ecosystem behind you from day one.
Research areas we're reinforcing:
- Generative AI & multimodality
- Self-supervised learning
- Motion synthesis & animation
- 3D/4D Gaussian splatting
- Image & video compression
- Video restoration & enhancement
Primary focus: video & animation with deep learning, but we welcome excellent researchers from any corner of AI and machine learning. Fit matters more than subfield.
