PhD student in generative modeling for data-efficient machine learning at Linköping University
Gabriel Eilertsen and Sebastian Mair are hiring a PhD student on generative modeling for data-efficient machine learning at Linköping University in Sweden.
The project uses generative modeling and synthetic data to address scalability, fairness, and (differential) privacy issues in machine learning by reducing training set sizes without sacrificing model performance. The position is part of the WASP – Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program. Read more about WASP here: https://wasp-sweden.org/
The student will be jointly affiliated with two divisions at LiU: MIT (Media and Information Technology) at Campus Norrköping and STIMA (Statistics and Machine Learning) at Campus Valla in Linköping. The student will have a desk at both campuses and access to the expertise and networks of both groups.
