The position is part of the MoCoDev project (Model of Cortical Development), funded by the French
National Research Agency (ANR). The objective of MoCoDev is to develop a new model of human cortical
development, enabling quantitative characterization of the complex changes observed in cortical shape,
from a smooth surface during early developmental stages to the highly folded adult brain.
Within the second scientific axis of the project, the developed model will be applied to specific populations
presenting abnormal early brain development, including agenesis of the corpus callosum and premature
birth, in order to investigate the relationships between cortical folding patterns and underlying structural
connectivity.
