Research Associate / PostDoc (up to 4 positions) in the Cluster of Excellence Reasonable AI at TU Darmstadt

The Cluster of Excellence Reasonable AI (RAI) at TU Darmstadt is inviting applications for up to four postdoctoral researcher positions, one for each of our four labs: Systemic AI, Observational AI, Active AI, and Challenging AI. We are looking for dedicated researchers eager to shape the foundations of AI that is trustworthy, transparent, and beneficial to society.

In this role you will

• play a key role in setting up, coordinating, and organizing one of the four research labs.
• conduct independent, internationally visible AI research.
• support teaching, mentoring, and funding activities.
• proactively contribute to strategic and organizational exchange with the cluster's administrative office.
• work closely with lab management and the broader RAI network.

You have

• completed an outstanding doctorate in one of the research labs' subject areas.
• proven scientific skills demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications.
• very good written and spoken English skills.

Experience in scientific support, research project setup and coordination, and securing larger research projects is a plus.

• confident, even in front of groups, and have a clear communication style, as well as moderation skills,
