Phd position in Biodiversity Estimation for LLM Knowledge Estimation

We offer a PhD position at HZDR/TU Dresden on quantifying factual knowledge in large language models using ideas from biodiversity estimation in ecology. The project is interdisciplinary, spanning AI foundations, LLMs, and statistical ecology, with access to ScaDS.AI expertise and a top-100 global supercomputer. Applicants should hold an MSc in CS, math, statistics, physics, ecology, or related fields, with strong data-science skills. Experience with LLMs is a plus.
