Faculty Positions in Information Security and Cryptography
The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT), created in partnership with Switzerland’s ETH Zurich and EPFL, invites applications for multiple faculty positions in information security and cryptography.
We welcome excellent applicants from all areas of security and cryptography, including cryptography (foundations and applied), systems security, software and network security, and privacy. The call is open to both tenure-track and tenured faculty, with an established record of high-quality research, who are eager to grow the new Information Security and Cryptography group led by Prof. David Basin, a world-renowned researcher in information security.
Founded in 2022, INSAIT’s mission is to establish itself as a world-class research institution and has already attracted outstanding faculty, postdocs, and PhD students. INSAIT regularly publishes at the most prestigious venues spanning programming languages, machine learning, computer vision, theory and other areas.
INSAIT offers a unique environment to do impactful, long-term research in collaboration with global leaders in the field. The institute also offers competitive salaries and well-funded positions, providing researchers with the resources needed— ample funding for hiring researchers, travel, equipment, and more.
Tenure-track hires at INSAIT are eligible to participate in the INSAIT-MIT CSAIL Joint Research Program, a unique initiative that allows INSAIT faculty to spend a year at MIT CSAIL, collaborating with MIT researchers on joint cutting-edge projects.
