1 joint post-doctoral position in Atomistic Simulations and Machine Learning at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia

This position is a joint appointment between the Atomistic Simulations Research Unit (coordinated by Prof. Michele Parrinello) and the Computational Statistics and Machine Learning Research Unit (coordinated by Prof. Massimiliano Pontil - co-director of the ELLIS Genoa Unit). The successful candidate will work in particular under the supervision of Dr. Luigi Bonati and Dr. Pietro Novelli.

The research project will investigate representation learning for atomistic systems, with possible topics ranging from transfer learning for machine-learning interatomic potentials and self-supervised learning for molecular representations, depending on the candidate's background.
