Say hi to Shihan Wang, Assistant Professor at Utrecht University 🇳🇱 and ELLIS Member. Her research focuses on reinforcement learning (RL), spanning both single-agent and multi-agent settings, with particular emphasis on interactive aspects of RL. It includes multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) with communication and human-in-the-loop RL.
She believes that human-centered AI/ML is a crucial direction for the future of the field, and by effectively combining human intelligence and domain knowledge with the capabilities of ML models, we can move towards more robust and interpretable solutions.
