Spotlight on Sahar Vahdati

Say hi to Sahar Vahdati, Professor at Leibniz University Hannover, Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology (TIB) 🇩🇪. She’s an ELLIS Member and her research focuses on representation learning and reasoning, with an emphasis on building intelligent systems that can learn structured, meaningful abstractions.
Her short-term goal in the field, she says, is to design and empirically validate representation-learning and reasoning frameworks that demonstrate robust generalization on benchmark tasks such as ARC-AGI, while remaining aligned with real-world scientific and societal impact.
