Spotlight on Nada Lavrač

Get to know Nada Lavrač, Professor at Jožef Stefan Institute 🇸🇮. She’s an ELLIS Fellow and past ELLIS Board Member, along with being the Director of the new ELLIS Unit Slovenia and part of the ELLIS Program Multimodal Learning Systems.
Throughout her career, she contributed to foundational AI research in machine learning, representation learning, natural language processing, literature-based discovery, semantic data mining, inductive logic programming, and computational creativity.
She says, “As an ELLIS Fellow and Director of the newly established ELLIS Unit Slovenia, I support this campaign to encourage female scientists to continue their research paths, promote their research, and establish fruitful collaborations enabled through various ELLIS initiatives.”
