Get to know Laura Ruotsalainen, Professor at University of Helsinki and the ELLIS Institute Finland 🇫🇮 Her area of research is machine learning algorithm development using spatiotemporal data.
She’s an ELLIS Member and part of the ELLIS Unit Helsinki.
She excited about the new ELLIS Institute Finland and looks forward to being a part of a world-class place to do research in AI and machine learning.
As for taking part in the #WomeninELLIS campaign, she says, “I'm happy to be part of the ELLIS society and hope to be able to inspire other women to pursue research in machine learning.”
