Get to know Kerstin Bach, Professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and Research Director at Norwegian Research Center for AI Innovation (NorwAI) 🇳🇴.
She’s an ELLIS Member who researches artificial intelligence methods that support decision-making in complex, real-world domains, with a strong emphasis on health, human-centered systems, and responsible AI. She says her long term goal in the field is, “to contribute to ensuring that AI remains an attractive and credible research field - one that develops meaningful, responsible applications centered on human needs. AI should ultimately improve our lives, and sustaining that purpose is key to maintaining both scientific progress and public trust.”
