Say hi to Isabel Valera, Professor at Saarland University 🇩🇪 She’s an ELLIS Fellow in both the ELLIS Unit Saarbrücken and the ELLIS Program Robust Machine Learning. Her are of research turns around the development of trustworthy machine learning methods to be deployed in the real world.
Her research can be broadly categorized in three main topics: fair, interpretable and robust machine learning.
She said she wanted to participate in this campaign because, “We need to improve the visibility of women in the field, to hopefully inspire the new generations to join the adventure!”
