Get to know Chen (Cherise) Chen, Assistant Professor at University of Sheffield 🇬🇧. She’s an ELLIS Scholar part of the ELLIS Unit Manchester and the ELLIS Program Robust Machine Learning. Her area of research is in AI and machine learning for healthcare.
In her work, she focuses on improving domain generalization, robustness to data shifts, missing modalities, and uncertainty estimation, so that AI models can be trusted in real clinical settings.
