Say hi to Azade Farshad, Assistant Professor at ELLIS Institute Finland | Aalto University 🇫🇮, and ELLIS Member. She researches semantic scene understanding and generative models in the intersection of computer vision and medical imaging.
In terms of her goals in the field, she says, “We have seen great advances in world models in the past years. However, the existing models are not yet advanced in physiology and anatomy-aware predictive analysis for the human body. In my research group, we plan to study causal models for the physical world as well as the human body.”
