Ethical Board Position at ENGINUITY consortium, a Horizon Europe proposal coordinated by the von Karman Institute
The project aims to develop AI-assisted engineering frameworks for aircraft engine design, combining physics-based models, data-driven methods, and human-in-the-loop approaches.
At this stage, we are establishing an Ethical Board to provide guidance on trustworthy, robust, and responsible AI in complex industrial systems. Given the role of ELLIS in advancing machine learning excellence and responsible AI, we would like to explore the possibility of involving a representative from your network in this board. The role would involve a limited commitment (1–2 meetings per year) and would focus on advising on AI robustness, generalisation, and reliability in engineering applications.
