AIMed 2026 is an international conference on trustworthy, human-centered artificial intelligence in healthcare, taking place 7–9 May 2026 in Kraków, Poland, and online. The programme brings together machine learning researchers, clinicians, and policy experts to explore methodological advances, clinical translation, and responsible deployment of AI in medicine.

The conference is a joint initiative of the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine, McMaster University (Canada), the Big Data Institute at the University of Oxford (UK), and the Interdisciplinary Health Data Center of the Jagiellonian University Medical College (Poland). The programme includes contributions from members of the ELLIS network, including Marta Kwiatkowska (University of Oxford), Andreas Maier (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg), and Piotr Sankowski (IDEAS Research Institute).

Call for Abstracts now open

Submissions are welcome across methodological AI research, clinical and translational studies, and real-world implementation. All accepted abstracts will be published in a Book of Abstracts produced in collaboration with BMJ Digital Health & AI.
