ELLIS Program "Natural Language Processing" Workshop

This workshop focuses on the future of NLP research and strengthening collaboration within our community.
It addresses the scientific question of what NLP research should focus on in the next 5 to 10 years and which methods and research directions will have the greatest impact. We will identify important new topics (e.g., robust and trustworthy language models, reasoning and grounding, evaluation, multilingualism, and responsible AI) and develop these topics into concrete research agendas and opportunities for collaboration. Part of the programme will also be devoted to discussing the future of the ELLIS NLP programme itself.
