ELLIS PhD Alumni Event
The ELLIS network warmly invites all ELLIS PhD Alumni to join the very first ELLIS PhD Alumni event, taking place in Tübingen 🇩🇪. This is a chance to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, share updates on your careers since doing your ELLIS PhD, and celebrate the community that brought you together.
Event Highlights
The event coincides with the 50th edition of the Machine Learning Summer School (MLSS), hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems as an ELLIS-endorsed school in the PhD & Postdoc Program.
A special guest will join the gathering: Giambattista Parascandolo (OpenAI), one of the first ELLIS PhD students, who conducted his doctoral research in Tübingen and Zürich and now leads reasoning research at OpenAI.
The afternoon will include:
Brief presentations from alumni on their recent endeavors
Updates from the ELLIS network
An evening get-together to reconnect and reminisce
An ELLIS souvenir for attendees who join in person
The opportunity to sign the ELLIS membership book
