ELLIS Doctoral Symposium
The symposium will give young researchers from the European machine learning community an opportunity to discuss their research, network with leading machine learning experts, and interact with each other at social events.
100 PhD students from across Europe have been accepted to present their ongoing research during workshops, poster sessions and tooling sessions. They will also have the opportunity to interact with senior researchers. Among the invited keynote speakers are Fanny Yang (ETH Zürich), Nicole Mücke (Technical University of Braunschweig), Claire Vernade (DeepMind) and Alexandra Carpentier (Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg). During the EDS career talks, researchers from academia, industry (Bosch, Amazon, Porsche) and the start-up scene will offer participants a glimpse into the opportunities that lie ahead and what a career in each of these fields entails.
