These individuals have made exceptional contributions to their respective fields, earning recognition for the remarkable influence of their work, as reflected by the high frequency of citations in academic literature.
This year, the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI)™ at Clarivate identified 6,636 Highly Cited Researchers, representing over 1,200 institutions across 59 countries and regions. The rigorous selection process blends quantitative data from the Web of Science Core Collection™citation index (spanning 2013–2023) with expert qualitative analysis by ISI experts, ensuring that the list highlights researchers with truly global impact.
