The ELLIS Unit Zurich is hosted by the ETH AI Center and established primarily around a core group of its faculty members. They work on methodological aspects of machine learning and emphasize the use of ML in impact areas such as health, life sciences, robotics, environmental sciences, and human-machine interaction. This way, they lead the way towards trustworthy, accessible, and inclusive AI systems for the benefit of society.
