Unit Mission
The ELLIS Unit Barcelona has the mission of creating a community of individuals who share common goals aligned with ELLIS’s vision and work together to achieve them.
The Unit has a clear vision of being recognized as a global model for the exchange, integration, and mobility of researchers.
It aims to become one of the leading regional players in Europe in machine learning, act as a key element within the Catalan AI strategy, and serve as the hub in Catalonia for the machine learning community, both scientific and industrial.
