Science Manager for Research Funding Acquisition
The Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML) is seeking, starting on January 7, 2026 or later, a Science Manager for Research Funding Acquisition (part-time or full-time, 50–100%). The position is initially limited to two years.
The Science Manager for Research Funding Acquisition will work closely with researchers and support them in initiating third-party funded projects.
As one of Germany’s six AI competence centers, the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML) is a joint initiative of leading researchers from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). MCML is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as the HighTech Agenda of the State of Bavaria. Our mission is to advance fundamental research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and to build strong connections to real-world applications.
Please note: Very good command of both German and English, spoken and written, is required for this position.
