Managing Director at the new RWTH Center for Artificial Intelligence
The RWTH Aachen University is looking for a Managing Director to take the lead in building up and developing the new AI Center.
Bundling activities in AI, data science and machine learning across one of Germany's leading universities, the AI center connects over 75 research groups at RWTH Aachen University. Artificial Intelligence is a core technology and driver for innovations in many domains, including production, health, finance, education, logistics, and energy. Therefore, the AI Center plays a crucial role in the strategy of the university.
The RWTH Aachen University is looking for a Managing Director to take the lead in building up and developing the AI Center, and coordinate all activities in close cooperation with the Board of Directors.The position will comprise an exciting variety of tasks and responsibilities in an inspiring and highly dynamic environment. The Managing Director will have a high level of autonomy and, together with the Board of Directors, have the opportunity to develop and implement the long-term strategy and direction of the AI Center. It thus provides a unique opportunity to play a leadership role in the Aachen, German and European AI ecosystem.
