Director for King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Chair in Artificial Intelligence
The King's Institute for Artificial Intelligence is seeking a new Director of the Institute to develop an exciting, impactful, scientific multi-disciplinary vision, working closely with key stakeholders both within King’s College London and beyond.
Launched in 2022, the King's Institute for Artificial Intelligence has created a coherent and visible presence for AI at King's, to support networking and collaboration across the King's AI community, provide a point of coordination within King's and for external partnerships and collaborations, and spearhead an exciting collaborative research agenda in AI.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellence in developing an ambitious research vision and conducting innovative and compelling research. They should have a proven track record of successfully attracting funding and the ambition and potential to secure further significant research funding. They should also be able to demonstrate the interpersonal and management skills required to lead a major University initiative in an area with huge transformative potential and to foster an inclusive, collaborative research environment across King’s.
