The Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen (DIKU) invites applications for three open positions in Machine Learning at Tenure Track Assistant / Associate / Full Professorship level. DIKU is part of the ELLIS Unit Copenhagen.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
• machine learning theory
• development of machine learning tools for specialized domains
• scalable and efficient machine learning
• applications of machine learning to sustainability, including environment and the energy sector
• quantum machine learning
• societal aspects surrounding the use of machine learning, such as fairness, ethics, and privacy.
Candidates are expected to publish in the premier venues within machine learning, including, but not limited to NeurIPS/ICML/COLT/JMLR.
